Our team of researchers from Silesian Technical University and NanoPrime in Poland, along with Sumy State University and Zaporizhzhia State Medical University in Ukraine, have published a new paper in ACS: Applied Materials and Interfaces. We utilized the fantastic technology of Plasma Electrolytic Oxidation, provided by Prof. Wojciech Simka, to improve dental implants and reduce postoperative complications. Our results will be used in the development of novel dental implants and will improve clinical outcomes for many patients. This is a great example of how science can directly benefit people’s lives. Let’s continue to do more research and push the boundaries of what’s possible!
