Sumy State University (SSU) in Ukraine and Federal University of Lavras (UFLA) in Brazil have reached another important milestone in their collaborative efforts, signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
This agreement opens up new avenues for joint research initiatives between the universities. One promising project involves collaboration between the Biomedical Research Center of SSU and the Department of Biology of UFLA to investigate the connections between the human gut microbiome and soil microbiome.
Did you know that our health is greatly influenced by our microbiome? Recent studies suggest that even our mental well-being may be significantly impacted by the microorganisms residing in our digestive system — a link that remains largely unexplored.
The SSU-UFLA partnership is open for calls for further enlargement from all interested labs.
Together we stand!
